Navigating the Insurance Umpire Process

The role of Kaleb Blake Company in the insurance appraisal process is simple (on paper, at least): to resolve an insurance claim dispute between the property owner and their insurance company. These disputes happen when the value of repairs as determined by a repair contractor exceed the payout value assigned by an insurance adjuster. At this point, each party hires their own appraiser to provide another valuation of the damages—and if they also disagree, the insurance umpire enters the process. It then becomes our job as a completely neutral party to review findings and determine what the final valuation will be.
