Theodore ‘Ted‘ Taylor is the owner of Kaleb Blake Company, as well as a professional appraiser, estimator, and umpire. His expertise includes all aspects of corporate management, personnel management, contract negotiations, sales, product design, development, quality assurance, and delivery of cost effective, high performance solutions. His willingness to take a ‘hands on‘ approach provides effective results. With his trust, integrity, and respect, you can be confident that you are in good hands.

 

Ted has various strengths that contribute to his success. His versatility allows him to work effectively during any scenario, representing both Carrier and Insured. Ted‘s ability to handle catastrophic and other high-intensity situations was expressed when he was handling claims following Hurricane Katrina, Wilma, Irene, and Sandy. He has written over 1500 appraisal estimates and served as umpire on over 300 claims. He knows the industry and his monetary successes negotiating settlements back that claim.

 

Ted maintains personal training requirements as an adjuster for both estimation and windstorm inspection. He is Xactimate Level 3 certified, SimSol certified, and Home Inspection certified. Ted offers out-of-the-box thinking and problem solving analysis that sets him apart from the rest. He has what it takes to get the job done right.

 

As an avid sports enthusiast, when Ted cannot make it out to the golf course or bowling alley himself, he enjoys spending time keeping up with professional and collegiate football games. Ted has participated in multiple tournaments with the Professional Bowlers Association, even competing in national tournaments. He is always eager to give back to his community. He has served as chairman of the Friends of Qujing Foundation, a foundation sponsoring Chinese children exchange programs to the United States. Also, when he and his family lived in Florida, he regularly served with the Broward Outreach Center and the Miami Rescue Mission for more than four years, reaching out to the homeless population in his community. He has a giving heart and the motivation to make a difference.

 

Ted puts his all into everything he does, no matter the size. There is no job too big or too small for Ted. Whether it is in his personal life or professional life, his goal is to impact lives for the better.
